Go Up For Brainrots for beginners
Everything you need to understand the game in a few minutes: what you are trying to do, how to make money, and what each word on a brainrot means.
1. The goal of the game
Go Up For Brainrots is about building an income machine. Brainrots are what make money, so the game is one loop you repeat, each time a little faster and a little higher.
- 1Collect
Go up the map and grab the brainrots that spawn on each floor.
- 2Place
Take them back home and put each one on a free spot in your base.
- 3Earn
Every brainrot in your base pays you cash every second.
- 4Upgrade
Spend that cash on speed, on carrying more brainrots per trip and on a higher jump.
A higher jump unlocks higher floors, where rarer brainrots spawn and pay more. Then the loop starts again.
2. Your base
Your base only has a certain number of spots for brainrots, and only brainrots placed there make money.
When every spot is taken, use your cash to upgrade the base and get room for more. More spots means more brainrots earning at the same time — usually one of the best upgrades early on.
3. Floors and jump
The map has 13 floors. The higher the floor, the rarer the brainrots that can spawn there, and rarer brainrots make more base cash per second.
You reach a floor by jumping high enough, so upgrading your jump is how you progress. The table shows roughly how much jump each floor needs and which rarities you can find there.
Costs are estimates: the total to upgrade your jump up to that floor, and how much it takes to go from the previous floor to it.
| Floor | Jump needed | Cost to reach | Cost from previous floor | Rarities that spawn |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Start | — | — | Common |

Every brainrot has one of 10 rarities, from Common to Forbidden. Rarity tells you where it can spawn and how much it tends to earn. Open a rarity to see every brainrot in it.

5. Types
On top of its rarity, each brainrot comes in a type — the same brainrot can show up as Default, Gold, Galaxy and so on. Default is the most common type and Halloween the rarest.
Each type also multiplies the cash the brainrot makes.
The type is not shown in the spawn message, only on the brainrot itself.
| # | Type | Cash multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Default | ×1 |
| 2 | Silver | ×1.25 |
| 3 | Gold | ×1.5 |
| 4 | Crystal | ×3 |
| 5 | BloodMoon | ×4 |

6. Traits
Traits are extras a brainrot carries on top of its type, and each one multiplies the cash that brainrot makes.
A brainrot can have several traits at once. The same trait never repeats, but in theory one brainrot can have one of each — and that makes its income grow a lot. Any brainrot can get any trait.
| Trait | Cash multiplier |
|---|---|
| Rain | ×1.5 |
| Fire | ×2 |
| Lightning | ×2 |
| Wave | ×2 |
| Lava | ×2.5 |
| Meteor | ×3 |
| Hacker | ×3.5 |
| Ghost | ×4 |
7. Levels
Every brainrot starts at level 1 and can be leveled up all the way to 400. Leveling up makes it earn more cash, so leveling your best brainrots is another way to grow your income.
8. Cash per second
Income is shown as cash per second (cash/s). Numbers get huge quickly, so the game shortens them: 100 Sx/s means 100 sextillion per second. Here is what each abbreviation means:
| Abbreviation | Name | Value |
|---|---|---|
| K/s | Thousand | 10³ |
| M/s | Million | 10⁶ |
| B/s | Billion | 10⁹ |
| T/s | Trillion | 10¹² |
| Qa/s | Quadrillion | 10¹⁵ |
| Qi/s | Quintillion | 10¹⁸ |
| Sx/s | Sextillion | 10²¹ |
| Sp/s | Septillion | 10²⁴ |
| Oc/s | Octillion | 10²⁷ |
9. In short
Everything above points to the same goal: get brainrots that make as much cash as possible. The best brainrot combines three things:
- The rarest rarity
Higher rarities make more base cash per second — and they only spawn on the highest floors.
- The best type
Rarer types like Galaxy, Radioactive or Halloween only come from events, so catch them while they last.
- As many traits as possible
Every trait multiplies the cash, and they stack on the same brainrot — up to one of each.
Then level it up and keep it in your base: that is your money machine.
